“Royals Blue” is a beautiful Cohiba Blue cigar box, Cohiba has some really nice cigar boxes, so if you want to build a good looking guitar or a wall hanger/conversation piece I recommend using a Cohiba box.
The neck is a 32″ piece of Maple which I spray painted Blue and sealed with Varathane Clear Gloss finish. The neck also has 1/4″ routered round over detail from nut to the body.
There are 6 sound holes that have been covered with a Antique Brass aluminum plate. The fret board is piece of Oak that has been stained with Weathered Blue stain and selaed with Varathane Clear Gloss. This board is fretted and fret markers are Nos. 8- 3/4″ Robertson head wood screws that have been spray painted Blue.

Royals Blue has a nut that consists of 3- 5/32″ metal screws spray painted Blue. The bridge is a Antique Brass 3- string hard tail bridge. The strings are Bronze Phosphor which gives the guitar a rich mellow tone. String gauges are
.024, .034, .044 which are tuned to Open G
G- D- G
Tuning pegs are Antique Brass fully sealed locking pegs.

Royals Blue is amplified with 2- 1 1/8″ round Piezo pick ups with tone/volume control. The tone/volume knobs are Antique Brass.
If you have any comments, questions please don’t hesitate to send them along and I will do my best to answer. I will be posting more of CB Guitar builds.
So until next time take care, and happy building and remember
All you need is 3 strings !!
